These draft terms describe intended conditions for using the Teranautics website. They do not identify a legal entity or governing jurisdiction.
Permitted use
You may access the website for personal, informational use and may link to its public pages. Do not interfere with the site's operation, attempt unauthorized access, misuse the calculators, or misrepresent an estimate as a quote, guarantee, or statement issued by Teranautics.
Estimates and professional advice
Calculator results are estimates based on inputs and stated assumptions. Some defaults are unverified or illustrative. Results are not installation quotes, forecasts, guarantees of energy savings, professional site assessments, engineering or safety advice, tax advice, or individualized financial advice. No calculator can determine the precise suitability or performance of a system for every home.
Before making a purchase or installation decision, check the inputs and assumptions, obtain written quotes and an appropriate site assessment, and confirm tariff terms and incentive eligibility with the relevant providers. Electrical, refrigerant, structural, and other regulated work should be handled by appropriately qualified professionals.
Your inputs and decisions
You are responsible for the values you enter, the way you use or share calculator URLs, and decisions made in reliance on a result. A shared calculator link may disclose its encoded inputs to recipients and to services that handle the request. Do not put sensitive personal or financial information into a calculator.
Content and reproduction
You may link to Teranautics pages and quote brief excerpts with appropriate attribution where permitted by applicable law. Obtain permission before reproducing substantial text, calculator code, or branded assets. Materials from third parties may have separate rights and conditions. Do not republish calculator outputs as a quote or guarantee made by Teranautics.
Third-party links and services
The website links to external sources and social profiles and uses Google Analytics as described in the Privacy policy. Third parties operate under their own terms and privacy practices. Teranautics does not control the availability or content of external sites.
Availability and changes
The site, its pages, data, and calculators may change, be unavailable, or be discontinued. The maintainer may correct errors or update assumptions. Material calculator and data changes should be recorded in the changelog; continued availability is not guaranteed.
Errors, misuse, and security
Report calculator problems through the Contact page. Use abuse@teranautics.com for suspected abuse or security issues. Do not attempt to disrupt the site or access systems or data without authorization.
Warranties and liability
The site is provided as available, and the maintainer does not promise that every page, value, or result will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the maintainer is not responsible for losses caused by reliance on an estimate or by the unavailability of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a responsibility that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited. The scope and enforceability of this wording require qualified legal review.
